Boston 3D Printers refurbished 3D printers are pre-owned machines that undergo our stringent quality refurbishment process prior to being offered for sale.
Each refurbished 3D printer:
is fully tested (including build testing).
is refurbished with replacement parts for any defective modules identified in testing.
is put through a thorough cleaning process and inspection.
includes either the software originally shipped with the unit or, in some cases, a more recent version.
is placed into a Final QA inspection prior to being added to sellable refurbished stock.
Do your refurbished 3D printers come with a warranty?
All Boston 3D Printers refurbished 3D printers are sold as is.
Are consumables included with your 3D printers?
You will need to provide your own consumables to setup the machine.
What do I need to start 3D printing in full color?

How do I order my refurbished 3D printer?
When you are ready to purchase your 3D printer, please send a purchase order to email@example.com. We will then invoice you for the full amount owed. Payment must be made in full in advance via wire (bank-to-bank) transfer for the machine to ship.
Do you offer equipment financing or leasing?
We offer financing for all refurbished professional 3D printers. When you finance, you get the 3D printing equipment you need with minimal up-front investment.
What is a Fair Market Value Lease?
If you want the latest equipment now, with the option to upgrade every two to three years, a Fair Market Value Lease is probably the right choice for you. At the end of your lease, you can return the equipment to the lessor and get new equipment, or you can buy the leased equipment at its then-current fair market value.
What is the $1 Buyout Option?
If you want to own your equipment but would rather spread the payments out over two to three years, the $1 Buyout Option is the choice for you. You can make monthly payments while keeping more chase on hand for other expenses. After all the payments are made, you own the equipment for $1.
When were the ProJet 660Pro and ZPrinter 650 released?
The ProJet 660Pro was released in 2013. The ZPrinter 650 was released in 2008.
Do your machines work? What condition are they in?
All of our refurbished 3D printers listed on the website are in excellent condition, fully functional and operate as intended.
Can you send me a test print?
Our 3D printers are fully inspected and cleaned prior to being listed on the website. During this process, all excess powder and binder are removed to prepare the machine for immediate shipment. Therefore, we cannot provide a test print.
What should I expect when I purchase a Boston 3D Printers refurbished 3D printer?

How do I know the 3D printer will work when it is delivered to me?
All of our refurbished 3D printers are fully functional and operate as intended prior to shipping. Each machine is given a complete inspection by Boston 3D Printers and tested by one of our 3D printing experts.
What if I still have concerns about buying a refurbished professional 3D printer?
We recommend purchasing a new machine from a 3D Systems reseller. A brand new ProJet 660Pro will cost over $65,000.

How can I buy an extended warranty for my refurbished 3D printer?
For extended coverage, you have the option of purchasing an extended warranty from 3D Systems or your local 3D Systems Reseller. The warranty extends the coverage on your refurbished 3D printer up to one year.

A refurbished item that I wanted is no longer available. How can I ensure that I get an item when it's in stock?
Refurbished supply is usually very limited and we often run out of refurbished inventory. We recommend that you act quickly if you see an item that you like. A 3D printer will be reserved for you once you've submitted a purchase order and we've received full authorized payment. Please note that some payment methods take longer than others and that availability of a refurbished 3D printer is not guaranteed until we receive your full payment.
How do I ship my 3D printer to a destination in the United States?
We can deliver your 3D printer using freight shipping. You are responsible for all shipping arrangements and freight costs including packing, crating, palletizing, shipping, rigging and insurance. Freight costs should be quoted from zip code 01801. A lift gate is required for pickup at our warehouse. Contact your shipper for an exact quote.
Free local pickup from our warehouse is available if you are located within the greater Boston area.
Can you ship a 3D printer to Canada?
We can arrange delivery of your 3D printer to Canada using freight shipping. The machine must be paid for in full before we can make shipping arrangements and provide you an exact quote from our carrier. Shipping costs will be billed on a separate invoice and must be paid in full via wire transfer for the machine to ship. You are responsible for all freight costs to Canada including packing, crating, palletizing, shipping, rigging, and insurance. You as the customer will be responsible for any duties and taxes imposed upon delivery of your item.
Can you ship a 3D printer internationally?
We can arrange delivery of your 3D printer using ocean freight to a port of destination chosen by you. The machine must be paid for in full before we can make shipping arrangements and provide you an exact quote from our carrier. Shipping costs to your port of destination will be billed on a separate invoice and must be paid in full via wire transfer for the machine to ship. You are responsible for arranging pickup of the 3D printer from the port of destination and forwarding the machine to your business address. You are responsible for all shipping costs including packing, crating, palletizing, shipping, rigging, insurance, and freight forwarding costs. You as the customer will also be responsible for any duties and taxes imposed by your country upon delivery of your item.

Unfortunately, we are not taking any additional inventory at this time.
